We listen. We spend the time to understand your project and arrive at a simple, elegant, cost-effective solution that not only meets that project’s functional needs, but exceeds expectations.
Our award-winning S&T Engineering team works to creatively apply scientific principles to a building’s design without compromising that design’s aesthetic. We incorporate safety, efficiency and comfort in every project.
We deliver efficient and comfortable buildings, which remain practical and resilient for the needs of today and beyond. Our engineering team works alongside our in-house architecture team, ensuring our services are always complementary and integrated within a building’s design.

S&T’s Building Performance Team assists in the delivery of efficient, dry, resilient, and comfortable buildings. We consider many factors, including thermal envelope design, building orientation and window-to-wall ratio, appropriate ventilation, heating systems and mitigation of overheating. We’re passionate about best industry practices and improving on these to drive for more sustainable outcomes. We also see our role as promoting building performance strategies that are urgently needed in New Zealand to improve our building stock and reduce our environmental impact.
To do this, our architects and engineers work together to reduce reliance on non-sustainable resources and create environmentally sensitive and responsible designs. This makes for buildings with a lower environmental impact that enhance health, productivity, community, and quality of life.
