We’re proud to announce that Te Kupenga o Rongomai: Maidstone Sports Hub has received a Merit Award in the Civic, Health and Arts category at the 2025 Property Council New Zealand Rider Levett Bucknall Property Industry Awards.

This is the third award the Upper Hutt facility has earned, recognising its impact as a sustainable, community-focused public building. Designed by Stephenson & Turner, the multi-purpose sports and recreation hub reflects our commitment to delivering innovative, accessible, and environmentally responsive architecture.

The hub brings together architecture, engineering, and lighting design expertise, creating a vibrant space that supports health, wellbeing, and connection in the heart of Upper Hutt. It continues to be celebrated for its contribution to public architecture in New Zealand.
